Is UPGP durable with only one layer?

I've been lookin at the Ultima Paint Guard Plus to use since I was extremely impressed with the Tire Guard Plus that I've been using. According to the application directions, multiple layers can be applied 12 hours apart. Since my car sits outside there's no way I can apply it 12 hours later without having to wash it again. Is the UPGP durable with just one layer or can it be topped with something else shortly after to give it more protection? I would like to be able to get 3 months with it, but is it possible without using more than one layer of UPGP.

The additional coats don`t have to be applied at 12 hr intervals

You can apply more when you get time to wash the car as long as its been at least 12hrs

I put another layer on after every couple of washes, why not it only takes 5 minutes

I didn't think of applying it after the next wash. I figured that it would work better if it was applied closer to the first application.

I may go this route an apply it every couple weeks.

Can UPGP be applied to a freshly polished surface, or should it be dawn washed like zaino to get a good bonding?

Just use an IPA or prep sol wipe down before appling UPGP.

So back to the OP, what kind of durability can you get out of one layer? Do you get more durability out of 2-3 in a proportional sense?

Cheers,

Before the first layer use Ultima Paint Prep Plus for the best bonding.

Just make sure the surface is clean when you put on the next layers, you won`t believe how easy it is to use, so no good if you want a work out.

The only thing to remember is not to use too much :- One spray to prime the pad then only 1 or 2 sprays per panel and just have faith in `where ever the micro fibre touches its applying UPGP`
