Is this ok?

Is it ok to put M26 and then a coat Collinite 845 over it?

Is there other combos that would work better?

Sorry first post on here.

there are surely other combos that would work better. By that I mean as far as durability and looks. Sorry, I've never used either of those as I'm just an amateur. Try it and see. How long ago was the M26 applied or has it not been done yet? I wouldn't apply the 845 immediately after the Meg's but perhaps 12-24 hours apart would be fine.

Never tried that combo, but I can think of two potential issues (dunno if either will happen though): 1) the solvents in the 845 might compromise the #26, 2) the high oil content of the #26 might cause issues with the 845 bonding.

All-in-all, I'd choose one or the other. Generally the last product gives the looks and these are two rather different looking waxes; I suspect you'll like one or the other better.

The #26 will probably give a deeper/richer look, but the 845 will look brighter/more reflective. The 845 will bead and last a lot better.

You might consider applying the 845, see how you like the look, and then apply the #26 to see if you like that better. Then you could refresh the #26 from time to time while the 845 will continue to maintain a good protective base layer.
