I have a lady coming by saturday so I can redo her car. after I ONR the car does this sound like a good order of steps to take. The rear and front bumpers have severe oxidation.

Bumpers - Yellow CCS Pad with HT-357 (Heavy Cut), followed by White CCS Pad and KAIO

Rest of car - Orange CCS Pad with Medium cut polish, followed by KAIO on White CCS Pad

after KAIO I plan to do Blue CCS Pad with EZ Creame Glaze and a nuba wax, should I put FMJ on after EZ Creame Glaze?

tires I have down to a sciences, not worried about those!

any suggestions? BTW the car is red with severe oxidation and swirl marks. If she shows on Saturday I will take pictures before/after. Maybe even do a C&B if I do a good job! :)

I'd start with something milder than yellow right away. Specially if the bumpers are plastic. Are you using a PC or Rotary?

PC, these bumpers are the worst. I have a couple pads coming for TOL on Friday (Orange,White,Blue). Should I start with Orange and a Medium Cut or Smooth Cut?

Thanks for the reply! :)

Edit: these bumpers have no shine, you can't see yourself in these things AT ALL, can't even tell color changes in these bad boys, words dont do this bad thing justice

Have plenty of clean pads as they will be soiled severely on the first small area you do. It will also take a lot of product as I did be maroon f150 the other day and nearly took a pint of carnu-b clkeaner wax on it. Made it look maroon again from the dark red it was. What kind and how old of vehicle/ May not have clear coat left on it so be careful and reseal the paint after polish. Something like that i wouldnt clay bar as youd be there a couple days and few bars just for that step. I enjoy challenges of that sort but usually dont get to have the vehicle long enough for what I would like to do to it. RANDAL

Its a 96-2000 Grand Prix (Red) and I love a red car, I accidently used a Blue CCS Pad and medium cut polish to my suprise it didn't do much the other night then I realized I was using the wrong pad!

I hope to get another TOL order in with my foam pad cleaning tool so I can be prepared for the worst.

alright I was a little off on the year of the car its a '95 Grand Prix and we think it was repainted after a collision I have a few pics I will post in a minute when they are done uploading to photobucket.

This is a shot of the upper driver panel vs. the front bumper, its almost at night so I couldn't get these much better. The bumper stinks,...

Passanger side upper vs lower both top and bottom are faded, bottom much worse than top half. The whole car has that side molding that has groves in it including the bumper, which should suck to polish out...

Hood, see that spot? looks like clear coat failure? I hope the whole car is clear coated, I really dont wanna do this thing if its SS Paint....SWIRLS YAY!!!!

Cars2007019.jpg

More faded and swirled paint on the roof of the car, the roof isn't so bad, but everything else seems to be terrible.

Rear Bumper shot, this isn't gonna be easy.

Cars2007014.jpg

Front bumper, scratches and oxidation, I dont know how much I can get out...

Cars2007011.jpg

The rear bumper, notice the trunk/deck lid, it looks alright, but the bumper compared to that is terrible...

Anyone know if a 95 Grand Prix is clear coated from the factory?
