Is there a really good fabric gaurd?

I have come acrossed many people that are asking about fabric gaurd, i am not really familiar with it because I do alot with leather and those people that do have fabric are just happy to have them cleaned. I want to learn more about it what to use and not to use. Is there a good brand you can buy at wallyworld, an auto parts store or is there a site that sells a better product. I have been researching but would like some feedback on whats out there.

I've been using 303 Fabic guard on my VW's cloth interior and it works great.
