You can see the side handle in the standard equipment (in your link). The handle must be fitted into the hole(s) in the head (where a screw-plug sits).

Porter Cable and Flex is the same company. These two machines are identical.

Not really. Generally speaking, the Euro-prices are much higher than the Americans. For example here in Hungary, the Flex costs around US$410, but you can get the PC in States for US$109 at Lowes.

Yep, it has a different housing. But the machine itself is the PC 97336 (the same machine with dust collection). The Germans measure speed a bit differently. My Bosch's rated stroke rate is 15.000 - 24.000 which is 7500 - 12.000 OPM in reality. One orbit, aka forth and back. They mention "orbit rate" on the Flex website which means the same.

I've seen Euro speed specifications quoted in both orbits per minute and strokes per minute (two strokes per orbit). So it may be that Flex's speed spec for the 1107 is about the same as the 7424's. Maybe, maybe not.

They have different metal body castings and plastic moldings. The motor and drive mechanisms are integrated with the housings, not just installed into them so they are completely different machines.

The Flex's motor has almost twice the input power of the 7424's (710W vs. 444W).

I've never seen the 1107 but I have seen other Flex machines (tile saws) that appear to use the same castings. They were built in Europe. The 7424 is manufactured in North America.

PC.
