is the Jelly Blade safe???

Re: is the jelly balde safe???

I'll just say this -

Anything - and I mean anything - you touch the paint with, or drag across the paint has the possibility of marring.

Some tools offer better protection than others against marring, such as microfiber towels. While I won't say that you shouldn't use the Jelly blade, I will say there's alternatives out there that appear safer to me.

I use a California Water Blade all the time and never have had a problem. Here is a little trick spray the car down with a 50/50 mix of PBs S&W and S&G then hit it with the CWB and finish up with a MF towel works wonders.

It's safe until you drag it across the paint and a spec of dirt happens to be in the path. :D

With the jelly blade there is nowhere for those tiny dirt particles to go...same goes for chamois and absorbers. ;)

Re: is the jelly balde safe???

If/when I use my jelly blade, I rinse it forst and then a few times as I go along.

Man: I thought the military folks I work with had the corner on three letter acronyms. I have to learn a BUNCH more now.

I use them alot for my first wipe on windows followed by ww to get edges.
For vehicles with large expanses of glass, it is a great tool as it speeds up the drying/cleaning process w/o soaking a bunch of towels.
