Spray wax?
I have used Rain-X Fast Wax, after you wash the car, you may or may not dry it, spread product all over car and then take a clean towel and buff off residue.
It had more wax than a QD, but less than a wax layer. It smelled good, very tropical (Pina Colada), and was white with a semi thick consistancy, like a gel. It stayed where I sprayed it. Similar to Eagle One's Wax as you dry product.
I haven't seen RainX Fast Wax lately though, I used all mine up (purchased in 1999, one of my very first spray wax type products. I use Meguiars Quik wax now.)
