Newb here. Just to clarify...this process is via PC 7424

Wash (NXT)

Clay with Clay magic

wash

SSR 2.5 with SFX Yellow Pad (Set to 3.5 OPM to spread and 5 OPM to cut)

SSR 1 with SFX White pad (3.5 OPM to spread and 5 OPM to cut)

AIO with SFX Blue Pad (OPM ????)

SG With SFX Blue Pad (OPM ????)

Top with Natty's blue x2 by hand *24 hours after cure of SG and each layer of Natty's*

Is this correct...???...or is there better pads I should opt for...use different pads on different products...etc. Thanks guys! :)

Welcome r12rex :wavey

Everything looks OK. When I use my PC and AIO, I don't put it higher than speed 3 and I have never attempted SG application via PC because doing it by hand alone can be tricky. I'm confident you don't need the PC for the SG application. I'd simply dampen a MF pad, put a drop of SG ( you can easily do this with SG in a small spray bottle) and apply it very thinly. If you can see the SG on the finish you've used too much/not applied thinly across enough.

Those pads ought to do just fine. I would never mix multiple products on the same pad;especially polishes. I'd designate one pad for one specific product.

Good luck on the detail.

I just did my car with AIO and I used the white SFX-2 pad based on reccomendations from this site. Worked out well, the white pad gave it a little bite and I feel it cleaned a little better.

I would also use the white pad for AIO application. I find that cleaning doesn't take as long because the pad itself helps clean the paint along with the AIO.

To save a bit of time, try claying when the car is still wet from the last rinse of your wash step. Spray a bit of the clay lube onto an area of the wet panel, clay that area, repeat for different areas, and when the panel is done, give it a quick rinse and dry it off. I find this faster and easier than washing, drying, claying, and then QDing/washing afterwards.
