Is my Menzerna Process correct guys?

Going to detail my 06' OBP STi tomorrow...bought some menzerna products and wanted you guys to chime in to see if this process was correct. It's been almost 10 months since I've given her a full detail...swirls are present, but not very bad. Anyway here it is...

Menzerna PO83RD SIP with light cutting pad *second try if PO106FF will not remove the swirls*

Menzerna PO106FF with Light cutting pad *first, if it's enough to cut through the present swirls*

Klasse AIO??

Klasse SG

Lusso Oro Wax

I want some longevity out of this...not sure exactly on durability of Lusso Oro, hence the need for SG...BUT since this is my first time with Menzerna, I'm not quite sure whether this process would be effective or even correct for that matter. Some tips guys?

My other products I have:

SSR 3, 2.5, 1

Optimum Compund and Polish

Megs #26 Paste wax

Nattys Blue

Megs NXT Paste

Lusso Revitalizing Creme

Thanks for the advice and help!

Kind Regards,

Ryan

Didn't know you were over on this site :) I've detailed a couple of OBP cars before and you might need to go with a medium-heavy cutting pad like a LC orange with the SIP, depending on how bad the swirls are. Obviously start with something less aggressive though and move up as needed. And in my experience, I prefer to use either a sealant or a carnauba. I just haven't found carnaubas to bond very well on top of sealants. In your case I'd just cut out the SG and use AIO followed by Lusso. You'll have to reapply a little more often but carnauba is all I use on black cars, sealants just don't bring out the depth. In fact, my new favorite LSP for black cars is Clearkote CMW. As easy to apply as a sealant, good durability, and it looks incredible.

sorry to hijack the thread, where can i find menz PO106FF??? and is does it have more or less of a cut compared to FPII??

Yea, I frequent this board a lot as well. I'm pretty damn anal about my car. Swirls aren't too bad really. I wash the car weekly and keep her under a Covercraft car cover. :) To the not so anal eye, it's likely they wouldn't be able to tell...but because we are all car fanatics and love our paint so much, it's an eye sore. You over on IWSTI as well?

I was thinking about skipping the SG as well...I really didn't like the way the car came out last time I used carnuba over a sealant...but I thought it might be worth it for the durability. It shouldn't be a problem to just re-apply lusso every month/every few weeks.

I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done! I can't wait!

Subarus have soft thin paint.

I would start with SIP on a polishing pad, and only step up to light cutting if it is necessary.

Also, finish with a finishing pad (not polishing) to make all defects are removed, as the soft will be suseptiable to pad abrasion.

Sorry about my spelling, its been a long day.

But I would use SIP/Polishing (or light cutting if needed) until the paint looks perfect. THen I would finish up with 106ff only after the paint looks as close to perfect as possible.

Detailers Domain has all of the Menz polishes in stock. Good, quick service too.

If it were me, I would do this:

Menzerna PO83RD3 SIP with light cutting or polishing pad (if necessary)

Menzerna PO106FF with polishing pad

Lusso Oro Wax

SIP with Orange

106ff with Black. some like white, but I found a black pad works sooo smooth with it via rotary

M21 FTW

IMO, of course
