Is Meguiar's in Bed with 3M ?

I haven't been following closely these two companies for the past 2 years and suddenly I see 3M in the UK is Meguiar's distributor and when I need a Meg's product in Canada that wasn't being stocked my Meguiar's Canada I was given a phone number to 3M Canada and low and behold the answering machine says such and such the Meguiar's rep at your service !



I know 3M has the OEM market and Meg's the retail market and now 3M is going out big times in the UK with the new line of retail product's with Paul Dalton as their cover boy !
