Hi i just want to know if these quick detaiers are safe to use. After cleaning your car and making it look as though it has just come out the show room, its the most annoying thing when u see it covered in dust after one day. So are these safe to use without scratching and swirling your paint work. I have just purchased this one:

they are safe as long as you're dealing with dust and not abrasive dirt

Spray and Gloss is okay only on very light dust. For more substantial dust/dirt, use a QD on steroids like Spray and Wipe or Chemical Guys Speed Wipe.

The other gotchas are making sure you have proper soft, plush microfiber to remove your dust or other contaminants because bad mf will also induce swirls. Also, you have to take into account how hard/soft your paint is and whether you can get away with this type of activity. This type of qd dust removal can certainly show more swirls on dark colors than light/metallic colors.

Yes, they are ok, just do not use them with med-heavy dirt.
