Is it safe to use APC on interior?

Today I had 2 details that the inside was a huge mess! The plastic and vinyl were so discolored..it was plain filthy.

I needed to use something rather strong and scrub at it so I diluted APC with water at about a 8:1 dilution.

One of the cars had leather in it which was dirty and I used this to clean with it as well. The car turned out gorgeous..the interiors were spotless and looked brand new once again.. I was highly proud of myself!

Now my question is was it safe to use this on the complete interior and leather? I did not use any dressing as he wanted it just to be clean.

Sorry for no pictures guys, but you wouldnt even have believed the pictures if I had time to take them. I was in a rush to do both cars inside and out and had absolutely no time to get the pictures I wanted. I took pictures of one of the cars before which was badly oxidized but it was night before it was done, so I will wait till sometime this week or next week and do a QD on it and take some after pictures to show.

I use 10:1 dilution on VERY messy interiors.

Spray on, let soak for 15 seconds, rub with MF towel. Repeat if necessary. Make sure to dress afterward as APC definately dries it all out.

I would only use on EXTREMELY dirty leather as like I said, dries it out and could also remove dye.

I also agree to dress/condition the leather afterwards. It's not a good idea to clean it without conditioning it.

How long after use will it begin to dry out? I didnt dress the interior, but I can run by their house tommorow and do a quick dressing if need be.

Imediately. I use trim cleaner by stoner's for interiors, much easier and safer or #39. I have used APC also on interiors but mosly for fabric or carpets. 303 is also a great upholestry and carpet cleaner and can also be used on vinyl.

For dressing I have become very fond of PB's Natural Look.

I would apply a conditioner on the leather surfaces after using a APC, both sun and low humidity will tend to dry out leather uphostery
