Is it possible to wax a car too much or too often?

id say try out some different waxes to see what looks good to you .when i had my truck i tried many combos ... i ended up with a combo that looked great ..i would apply some quick detailer to the panel then apply a polish/carnauba mixture over the quick detailer ..that victory red was off the hook

well if you are using nxt 2.0 i would assume a 2-4 month interval would be more than adequate but be careful if u think u are going to apply a carnauba like the above have stated it will give u some grief so use one or the other if u are going to frequent these processes !

in my case i would probably seal every 4-5 months and wax every 2-4 months depending on the quality of product i use and its durability !

I have since read that NXT 2.0 is not a cleaner wax.
Sorry for the incorrect assumption on my part.
I don't know about this one Charles. NXT may not be advertised as a cleaner wax but the solvents in that product definitely have some cleaning ability. That has been my experience with it even on light oxidation. I've got no way to prove it but I believe it will remove itself when reapplied.

I have read over at the Meg's forum that the "cleaners" in NXT2.0 are very very dependent on how you apply the NXT2.0. Also, it is considered very minimal cleaning ability. Just passing on what I have read and heard.

So you're saying that If I use a nylon stringed bug sponge to apply it, it will probably remove something?:D

If I could go from this:

To This:

With just this:
After clay, after NXT 2.0

I'd be buying stock in Meg's. :lol2:

Haha, yeah I originally made a post about that but retracted my comments.

Amazing what a little sun can do huh? Maybe no one actually thinks that just claying and NXT2.0 did that all by it's lonesome. :D
