Is a minor amount of foam shedding normal with a PC 7424?

Using a PC 7424, LC white polishing pad, Klasse AIO, speed setting of 4 - 5. I notice I get a small but steady stream of tiny bits of foam shedding as I work. The pad is brand new, I primed it with QD. If I look at the pad I see no visible signs of damage. Is this minor shedding normal or is it an indication that I am being too stingy with the AIO?

Yup, that kind of speed I get that with the Meguiars pads. usually its around the the velcro bit where they come from.

Totally normal, those pads, actually all pads to my knowlege, are final sanded. What your seeing is just part of the production process.

I usually run the pad on the palm of my hands for several seconds (if new) prior to using on a vehicles surface.
