DETAILED TODAY?
after returning the straub returnable bottles this morning for the $4 credit, thought i would stray and try something different. the straub has been working out really well btw and its a great beer! and i like the fact their 16 oz bottles. i still have about 5 to finish to return the 2nd case i have.

on to the new iron city amber lager. 12oz bottles. i read up on the reviews, and surprised it got really good ratings. price is right. after my $4 credit the IC was $11 OTD. :rofl well, i will proabably get into this weekend, so i'll judge it then. BEER of course is the worse thing to drink during this heatwave. water being the best. thats why my beer drinking is limited to weekends in the evening.

There are a lot of nice beers available at supermarkets now...so many that there must be a lot of profit in them even after the taxes on alcohol.
 
Super jealous of you guys that have readily available craft brews up there. Gonna have to load my trunk the next time I'm in Pennsylvania. :D
 
had 2 last night after it cooled down outside. not bad. not bad at all. the review i posted in my first post i will agree with. very full body and flavor. not sweet. for $15/case and bottles its hard to beat.
 
That's a deal.

For me it's mostly Corona. When it's sunny and hot and I'm at the beach, any beer tastes good, but Coronas hit the spot for me. You add a lime and a shot of Bacardi Limon' and it goes off the roof!

:bigups corona and lime. i will pick up a 6-pack and lime when the urge hits. many have tried to come up with beer versions and lime, but have not had a good one yet.
 
On a hot day a Blue Moon does it for me--very smooth,unfiltered with a hint of orange. Very much like Sam Adams Summer.
