Interior Carpet Soaked

The rear window vent seals on my e36 M3 failed, now the carpet and under the carpet is soaking wet. I was able to get the carpet itself dried quickly, but the foam underneath is still soaked with rain water (it rained a lot).



I was told my only option was to fully remove the carpet and power wash the foam part with soap, then let dry. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to tackle this. I don't have my own garage and it's starting to get cold out :(
 
A friend of mine told me that I could just take out the seats, pull up the carpet as much as I can, and throw a dehumidifier in there. Has anyone ever tried this.
