Interesting observation Sonus Carnauba Spritz

I picked up some of the on sale carnauba spritz from the Autopia store. $5 had to get 4 bottles! Using it as a booster between waxings w/ P21s. When i first wiped down my truck w/ it, I felt the finish and it seemed kinda tacky, not really slick at all. Surface has been clayed and prepped and a coat of p21s the week before. Funny thing is the next day the finish felt smooth and slick. Wondering if carnauba in general has to "set" to be slick or something. Just a strange observation.

BTW used it on my wifes Avalon too and had a chance to rewash a week later. It did seem to make the dirt just glide right off. Beaded like a mother too.

For $5 gotta love it...... :woot2:

I've noticed that it doesn't feel slick if it's not fully buffed off. Especially when used in humid conditions (Like early morning when dew is still around - pretty tough to get it to "get slick" with all that moisture appearing.)

I love CS and find it to be exactly like CM. I tried the new Sonus Detailing Spritz and the more I use it the more I love it.

I would consider Sonus Carnauba Mist to be an ample substitute for CM. Especially at that price!
