Interesting e-mails about waxing fresh paint.

I think it has a bake booth. He said something about it sitting for a couple hours at 140* or so.

Ok, Zaino it is. I actually prefer the look of OCW on my paint, but it doesent last as long.

If you prefer the look of OCW, you might want to try OS underneath the OCW. Give you the durability you want and the look of OCW

I am new in detailing. It appears that those guys are one of the authorities in detailing. Dr. G's credential and impressive. I wouldn't think he'll make a hard sale with the risk of being sued because of it, considering his stake at Optimum. IMHO, he will not gamble his "hard-earned" reputation just to sell 16 0z (or even 128 oz) of product. my .02 cents.

After six years this thread is pretty well dead ;)

And just FWIW, there is stuff in this thread that differs from my personal first-hand observations/experiences.

But eh....just get the Optimum wax and take that trip :D

I give this one 10 stars! Zaino & Optimum still saying that their products are safe on fresh paint after all these years. I did a test and will try to post my results in the near future....

David Fermani- Between today's (post-production) paint technology and some of the advancements in detailing product tech, well....things change.

As for testing, my particular concern might be a little tough to quantify, huh?
