Installing Dash Gauges

I am all sorts of confused right now.

I want to install a reverse glow gauge on my 97 Cavalier. I found one that fits and (IMO), looks cool. The only problem is, I cannot find instructions anywhere on it..

How difficult would it be to install said device? Should I get a professional to do it, or have a friend who knows what he's doing take care of it?

Also, just out of sheer curiosity, would anybody know where I could find the installation instructions so I know what I'm up against?

Thanks a lot

not sure if there is a discussion bard for that car, but that's the first place i'd check

other then that, the manufacturer should tell you something.

doing the install typically isn't hard, but remember to mark where the neadles point to. if you don't when you reinstall your speed, fuel and other level may be off

most of these lights dont come with instructions because the manufacturer does not want to be liable for a bad install causing major electrical problems. its not that hard to isntall it.

Don't nudge the gauge needles when installing them.

Look up a writeup for reverse glow gauge face installs, like on a Honda forum or something and base your installation from that.
