In desperate need of shade - AZ sun is a killer!!!

Hey everyone -

I'm new the business and new to this site and have been stuck reading posts for the last several hours. I never would have thought someone would have made a site dedicated to detailing cars. Just want to say thanks to everyone on this site - your posts have answered alot of my questions and saved me tons of time.



Just like the title of the post says, I need some shade bad.....:cool:For the past two months, we've been well over 100 degrees here in Phx. With very little shade around town(palm trees suck), I'm kind of in a bind. Most of my customers have very large vehicles - RV's. I have seen a variety of shade stands around, but none of them have been large enough to drive a motorhome under. If anyone out there knows where I can find a tall shade stand please let me know.



I was also wondering how someone would go about buying products at bulk (do you need a business license?). I've been buying at Checker/Walmart, but the selection is limited and prices for individual sizes are higher than in bulk. Anyway, I was most interested in Zaino products. I use a PC orbital and foam pads have been working great, need to buy them too.

I don't know about a portable canopy that big, but you can go to www.meguiars.com and find the link to your local distributer where you can buy pretty much everything you want in bulk. A gallon of Meguiars #26 wax runs under $30.



I don't know if you can buy Zainos in gallon sizes. :nixweiss
 
Welcome to the board waxin! I reccomend contacting Sal at Zaino if you are interested in buying in bulk. Most likely you can work somthing out with him.

I sure do appreciate the help everyone. The links were just what I was looking for Acordian and laynlow. Not cheap is right, maybe I'll save for $$$ for the shade instead of the toys I've been eye ballin'. Hmmmmm, hopefully one of these days I'll have a garage like Redcarguy:bow to put my toys in.
