this is annoying. A customer booked me to come fix a door scratch 2 weeks ago. Today is his day and all of my attempts to contact him have gone south. I sent him a email confirmation yesterday, I called once earlier this morning, i called again and got throgh-he said he's got a tire issue and needs AAA to break his wheel lock off and to call him back in 15 minutes....15....30...45 minutes go by and he hasn't responded to my calls or txt. I'm about to just drop the whole notion. This car is like 40 miles away from me so I don't feel like showing up for nothing.
 
I have that happen every once in a while. Not much you can do about it unless you want to put a $25 hold on his credit card to reschedule that you roll into the price.
 
It happens every so often at our fixed shop as well. Not much you can do about it, you can try charging more next time they book, but that's assuming you remember who they are. I find that most folks that blow off a detail don't bother ever rescheduling.
