I'm looking for a sealant to use beneath P21s 100% Carnuaba Paste Wax

Hi Guys:

What would be a great sealant to use with P21s 100% carnuaba paste wax as my LSP?

I own a silver car, and I'm looking for a great shine.

Thanks,

Gene

Ultima and Wolfgang IMO are the two best sealants.

On both Ultima Paint protection Plus and Wolfgang Paint Sealants is it true that I have to wait 12 hours after applying them to then put the carnuaba wax on top?

IMO zaino/megs 21 are good choices

megs 21 will mesh with a nuba better IMO it has a nuba look to it.

zaino will give a deep clear look that topped with a nuba brings out the best in both products

Yes, the polymers need 12 hrs. to cross-link and cure. Best to leave in a garage as no moisture should get on the paint.

The OP specifically mentioned using a 'nuba on Silver paint. Is there any real advantage to this over using a good sealant?

Good point Rob, I would put down 2 layers of Wolfgang and be done.

In my experience, I just don't find that Silver really benefits much from Carnauba compared to other colors (like Red or Black for example).

It doesn't mean I am right, of course. I was just wondering if others had a different opinion.

I'm with Diesel. Meg #21 would look awesome. Just make sure your car has a good surface to work with. Men. PO85RD is my choice.

it's really hard to make a factory silver look wet or super glossy like other colors, I've tried and I just can't make it look all that great

Try the werkstatt twins. I use that and P21s 100% It is the best combo to make the flake pop and get a lot of gloss and durability. You will need two to three layers of P21s 100% to get any durability

Thanks a lot guys.

Due to the great information I have received on this board I'm going to go a different route.

Here's the process I'm going to do:

1. Wash.

2. Clay.

3. Wolfgang Paint Work Polish Enhancer.

4. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

After 12 hours of curring

5. LSP- Fusion.

All the info I received on this board indicates this is the way to go for the best shine on my silver paint.

Does my process look OK to get the job done? Should i change it in any way?

Thanks,

Gene

Agree, much prefer Opti-Seal, Zaino, 1000P, Werkstatt
