Picked this applicator up locally from small auto parts store. It works great. Just spray or dispense the tire dressing on the applicator and it gives great coverage and no mess. Saves a lot of time. Haven't been able to find anyone selling it on the net but has the name Clean-Rite Products, LLC, 600 Wharton Circle SW, Atlanta, Ga 30336 on the cardboard attachment

Don't recall the price . . .

Works better than the Eagle One Tire Swipes?? It looks like it might for big tires like on SUVs but the tires on both my cars are very low profile....

I find it better than the tire swipes. I like the handle, it is less effort, I always forget to use a glove and my hand used to get dirty with the tire swipes, and the applicator width is 5 inches. The Sponge material seems durable yet soft. Softer than the tire swipes. I have tires that are not smooth on the surface. They are Goodyears with 2 inch height striations that go the circumference of the tires. These striations are a PIA to get into and get excess out of. It worket very well with this applicator. It cost $5.00 and I never detailed my tires faster than today...except when I used Stoner's MSLT which ended up slinging on the vehicle sides.

I have used a similar foam-based applicator. I also have some one 1.5 inch squares of serged Charima. More work to apply, but, they use far less product and you can easily clean them. I am a bit torn between ease of applicator vs. economy and cleanliness.

Can I block PMs from a member here?

Also does this forum have an "ignore" feature, so I don't have to read posts from a member here?

TIA!

Click on offending person's user name and go to his "view public profile".

There is a drop down menu just under the name titled "user lists".

The last drop down choice is "add to ignore list"

I'm not sure that will do the trick but it may.
