What would that be?

The Army is sendingme to a new post for school so I am going to be living out of a "dorm" style room. This means that I won't really have a place to keep my Audi garaged and detailed. So, that being said, if you could take 1 product with you to maintain the lok and shine you wanted, what would it be? ( I am wondering about mooseWax)

(BTW, QD's are not art of this. I have QS and that wil DEFINITELY be coming with me! lol)

PwC or PwC Blue. Although a more important product would be QEW. You can't use any wax on a dirty car.

But if you worked on applying several layers of other things already, you'd want to get a pure wax to keep topping it. So I'll go with Nattys or Nattys Blue. :)

i willhve to wash it at one of those DIY places, so I am can sure I get it clean safely. I will be taking my wash mitt...

if your not looking for a AIO type product saying im sure your car is already polished and what not....it would pick your favorite sealant or wax....so i would pick JW Acrylic Jett...

does OCW work better over carnubas or sealents?

I don't think it matters, and it looks good on it's own, too. I've used it over Nattys blue, NXT, Zaino, ex w/carnauba, Souveran, and right over RMG as a standalone LSP. It always applied easily and looked good.

Depends on how often you will be waxing the car and how much swrill removal are you looking for. Right now I'm a big fan of Meguiars #21 because it has enough cleaners for maintance cleaning and last pretty long. I would say AIO is still a favorite, but I don't like the look on dark paints, but its a stronger cleaner. Never tried Moosewax but it might be just enough for you. I would suggest that you take a bucket with good shampoo, a wash mit, a good drying towel and many good polishing towels along with your one step product.

Looks like you tried the OCW over many LSP'S , what did you notice over the Z2Pro ? was wondering if you or anybody else has tried OCW over EX-P.

05Sleeper- It's gonna need cleaning beyond shampoo, so that rules out noncleaner LSPs. And I mean *functional* cleaning, not the sort of "cleaners" that really just make a product easier to use. Doesn't sound like claying will be feasible either.

No one-step with abrasives is gonna have eough cut to fix any marring on an Audi so that'll be a "just don't worry about it" thing, but maybe consider a product that'll hide a little marring.

Most one-steps/cleaner waxes don't last long at all.

So if I were in this situation, with one of our silver Audis, I'd take Autoglym SRP.

If you are gonna take a topper, I'd take Collinite. The self-cleaning nature of it would work well at the DIY carwashes. And it'd hide any marring you pick up (the SRP does a little of this too).

And take something for that repainted hood too ;)

SRP, 1ZPP and PwC are nice but AIO wins for me.

I can use it on paint, glass, plastic, wheels, etc.

It also works as a QD or wash shampoo. Not the best but it works.

I'd still want to bring a QD/spray wax like OCW for more protection and lots of microfibers.

That’s precisely why I suggested GW. In a spray bottle, it’s extremely easy to use (however not QD-like as OCW), offers better protection, and leaves a brilliant shine.
