Again, what type of people are your customers. I never put anything in writing up front. I agree on the service to be provided and a ball park price for the service, with the customer. Once the work is completed, I write up an invoice for payment. I have never had a customer (knock on wood) try and pull something like this. There is a certain type of person who tries to pull this type of thing, and they are definitely not my type of customer.
