Had a nice big box from DD yesterday waiting at my door, always makes me happy. I felt it was time for an upgrade in the polishing and lighting department:thumb:





Makita(3M BP on the way), Infratech,ACE powersticks, 1Z glass polish and a little Lusso sample

So far I am thrilled with the Makita, got to work on some spare panels and I really like this machine, very smooth and the correction power is great. The CM5300 is awesome also, very bright and the light range is wide. I added some tape for a better grip.

We *all* want one of those. It's about the only source of artificial light capable of showing holograms. It's like the sun; it'll show you just about *all* the defects in the paint. Body shops use it for color matching new paint.
 
Yea the ACE powerstick is a great tool that is model #401 and #601(for bigger wheels) is on the way, its gets deep into the wheel and all hard to reach areas like between the caliper and spoke. The Infratech is similar to the 3M Sun Gun, very powerful and bright yet it cost well over half the price and offers a wider range of light, dont have to worry about batteries either.
