here is a shot of an 87' honda accord i detailed for a friend of mine this weekend. he said the last time it was waxed was 4 years ago. it turned out pretty good. as you can see in the background, i spent the whole weekend detailing everyone else's cars and didn't get a chance to wash my poor filthy truck:(

here is a shot of the 4-runner i also detailed this weekend. i'm guessing it had never been waxed in its life. it's an 98' w/78k. it really turned out nice.

well we did at least get a chance to wash our volvo wagon. it's suppose to be 71 degrees tomorrow but it's suppose to rain...so, fingers crossed, it'll hold off long enough to get my nasty truck washed...its driving me crazy:scared

Nice Job Tim. Looks like you did a great job on that Accord, nice shine for a car that's 15 years old. :xyxthumbs The 4-Runner looks great too. :bow

Now get out there and wash your truck, hehe! ;)

That's a pretty blue on that Honda. I'll bet there was a really nice difference in the before and after on that one. What did you use? Looks great! :xyxthumbs

sl, thanks for the compliments. not bad for a non-pro;) . i'll see if i can get a better shot of my truck tomorrow, hehehe

ric, thanks, yes i do have a new digi-cam. i'll be able to get some better quality shots up now. i bought a cannon elph s110, i love it.

jngrbrdman, here is a before shot. there was a huge difference. i used perfect it fine cut, smr for dark cars, ppcl, aio and then sg. thank goodness i have a pc.

I will get some after pics of my truck. it's really not as bad as it looks. we had about 6" of snow last weekend and my truck still has the salt and road grime on it. 6" of snow one weekend, 70 degrees the next... go figure:nixweiss

I'm guessing that I probably put 16 hours in the 2, the majority going to the 4-runner. my whole weekend was on the driveway detailing the 2 cars. i can't think of anywhere else i'd rather be.

i don't want to talk about the birthday, hehehe ;)

hehe, maybe you should send the pics to Lane, show him how it's really done. :D

thanks brad, things are just dandy. i hope all is well with you. just looking forward to spring.

hey guess, you and me both. of course it'll be lookin' nasty after driving it around in the rain tomorrow, but oh well... now i'm just getting ready for the folks to show up so we can head out and eat :bounce i've been looking and i still can't find that new 996tt i was hoping to get for b-day ;)
