I was cleaning off my car, and I saw a really small area where it looks like something stuck to it and kind of stained it. I got out a MF wax applicator hand pad and someregualar OTC polish since they are pretty much non abrasive, and it took some of the discoloration off. So I decided to get out the Meguiars #5 new car glaze to try an get the rest, same process apllied with a wax applicator pad but with a little bit of pressure applied, nothing that seems like it'd do anything. Anyways the #5 took the discoloration off, but now I have got some very fine scratches in the small area where I used the #5:wall
Is there anying I can use by hand that could possibly take these scratches out or at least fill them for the time being? It's not even really a 1" x1" area, but it's enough to annoy me and not really big enough to get the PC out after it. I tried using Poorboy's Blue Carnuba polish and Meguiars Carnuba Wax, but this combo did not do too much to really get it out or hide it much.
I have thought about Scratch X, but from when I used it before a long while back you could tell that it had some abrasives in it. I am thinking that it may be too abrasive for this, unless it has changed in recent years. Any suggestions on how I can get these fine scratches out?
