I Z'd (always zfx'd) my car in late april (z2,z5,z2) and in mid july (z2, z5). I use z6 after weekly washes. I noticed a significant reduction of beading over time on the entire vehicle so I z'd again (z5 x 2) last night. Based on what I've read here Z should last longer than it did, especially after the multiple applications. I have a hunch that my car wash soaps could be the problem but I'm not sure yet.
My method...
Water rinse
Rinse (no pressure jet) using Lowes $10 sprayer filled with Turtle Wax Class of Gold
Wash using Gold Class S/C (sometimes more concentrated than 1oz/gal)
Water rinse
Dry
z6
I thought that both of these soaps were fairly gentle even at slightly higher concentrations? Is this how long I should expect Z to last? Thanks guys.
