I wanted to share a PM I got at the Meguiars site from a very nice young guy who needed some help with detailing his truck.
He had a pretty good base knowledge but wanted to try some specific Meguiars products that he could not get his hands on in Canada. One of the products he wanted was M21. I told him that M21 is great (which I think it is), but that he should try Wet Diamond out.
I also had my wife buy some Ultimate Compound for him while in Michigan, along with UQW, SwirlX and some other goodies I already had in my possession (this was not a "for profit" venture for the User Name family).
In any event, he has a big'ol black pickup and he just detailed it and used Wet Diamond (purchased it from a Canadian vendor). Here is what he wrote:
I left out the link to his pics because I need to get his permission before I post them.
In any event, another happy Wet Diamond convert!!! I believe I've got about 5 thus far!!! Next to Angelo and Todd, I think I'm PAC's next best sales person. When do I get my commission check? LOL
I'll add pics upon approval. Truck looks amazing buy the way. No sun shots, but still looks awesome.

Hey,
well the BFWD actually showed up on the friday so I was able to get everything done on the weekend. The clay worked great, and if the meguiars clay is harder than that, then I'm glad I got this stuff. Then I started to use the SwirlX, but I needed to step it up, so I ended up using the Ultimate Compound on the whole truck. I didn't really have a lot of sun on the weekend, so it was hard to tell if I got all the swirls out, but when I did get some sun, I didn't see many swirls at all. There are definately quite a few of the deeper scratches left, but smoothed out quite a bit. I just figured I would work on those more next time, but for now it looks quite good. Then I followed up with one coat of BFWD, which is so nice and smooth. A little goes a long, long way. It's so amazing. Then on Sunday I did the whole interior, and the wheels and trim. I'm going to put another coat of the Blackfire on this week. Overall, I am quite happy with the results. Thanks again for introducing me to all these great products.
I have a few pictures, but they're not great. I put the few pictures I took up on photobucket, so here is the link to the album if you just wanted to take a quick look.
