I recently picked up a 97 Honda Civic at a great price from a friend and I've started to clean it up. The previous owner took great care of mechanical maintenance, but neglected the interior/exterior.
I decided to start with a quick vacuum and wipe down over the weekend but once I started, it was hard for me to stop. I kept finding years of dirt and crumbs behind each panel so I actually ended up ripping out most of the interior. :help: I figured if I'm going to clean it, it may as well be Autopia clean.
Now I'm driving around with most of the interior stripped (#racecar) until I can introduce the Civic to the Dupray steam cleaner and Mytee extractor. At least I'll know everything is squeaky clean once I'm finished.
I just wanted to share the current progress. I know you guys will know how I feel.
