well about 2 months.. sprinklers went all over my hood and my passenger side. i tried washing it.. polishing.. waxing blah blah.. it took it off but when you look at the hood directly when the sun is facing it.. you can see the waterspots still.. what can i do?? will vinegar help?

When you said polished it, did you do it by hand or by machine? If by hand, there should be no problem getting those out via a PC and some good polish and/or compound. Hopefully a few others can shed more light on other ways to remove water spots.

Vinegar should also help out and will remove any wax you've got. Although for me, the thought of Vinegar on my car scares me... :soscared:

This is when light duty compound will help you out. Wash your hood, use light duty compound with a wool pad (high speed buffer). Then buff again, with a clean wool pad using a buffing cream, then proceed onto the swirl removing techniques.
