...Dreaming on an E92....
So I had Jury Duty like a year ago... I never went... And CA passed a new law where if you don't show up, you get to go to court! :rockon
Basically, they call you in to court, make you pay $150, and they reschedule you. Anything they can do for money, eh?
Long story short: I told them I'd like my jury service to be in November or later since it's the wintertime and the detailing season slows down. The judge acknowledged me for being so young and going out on a limb and starting my own business and I walked out. The bailiff followed me out and asked how much I'd charge to detail his F250 and a general idea of how much a basic detail was, I handed him some cards and he told me he'd give me a call next week and that if I do a bang-up job, I'll probably get more work from the people at the county/sherrif offices
I guess I already made up for that $150 loss
Now if you all will excuse me, it's Friday, I don't have any work today because I thought this thing might take all day, and it's hotter than hell out. Time to hit the river, or possibly the beach
