I hate SAP !!!!!

Well as most of you know, I made a thread about getting rid of the little sap dots on my car.

Well the rain got some of em, then Bug Squash got the rest. I also did my sons car. Well lthis morning my car is covered again, and so is my son's. Flat surfaces as well as sides.

here is a pic of what it looks like this am (pic doesn't do the sap justice but you get the idea.

When does it stop??? Why is it so much worse this year? Is it because of all the rain?

it can fly that far ..but it's probably maple ..sounds like you need another wash or to waste a bunch of Spray and Wipe :cool:

Hose it downwith sw then wash? will try that tonight since i am working tonight and tomorrow night. At least it will stay clean for 12+ hours since it will rain tomorrow night.
 
one big drawback of having to park next to trees. maple and pine. two choices. cut the trees. invest in car covers.
 
Neighbors tree, and it doesnt encroach on property.

Oh well off to boo boo bus and try and clean my car.

Hope people aren't inconsiderate to disturb me while I'm cleaning.
 
ahhh. i see. sorry to hear that. other than a cover it is a problem. hours of detailing....then the sap gods pee. :(

It is driving me nuts. You can do a car today, and it's a mess tonight.

As far as the tents, I have a steep sloped driveway. So I'd have to nail it down. And I bet that my town has some sort of ordinance against it. My neighbor would love that....

you need a big tent like we use at shows with walls ...it will stay on the driveway with a few weights and tie downs into the lawn ;)

You can wash it after the rain... to keep that showroom shine.

Don't blame it on the rain.
Your problem is "SSSnow".
It's the trees that's causing the problem.
This would not happen if you would just "GET A PADDED ROOM" like mine.
Park your car in the Garage, sit on the roof like me!!
Get a car cover or you could begin to
use a product that resists sticking sap on your car so it comes off easier. I recommend Crisco.
