I got to work on my CRX.

I'm storing it for the winter, but it was so nice out I brought it out to clean it up. I hadn't gotten a chance to clean it up well before putting it away.

On the left side of the car, I tried out Hi-Temp Light-Cut using the PC with a polishing pad. Despite this fun, I decided to call it quits and went on to a coat of Meguiars Gold Class with the PC and finishing pad. After that, I thought I'd put a coat of S100 on. I'm not sure if it made much of a difference...it might have added some shine and kept the Gold Class depth and darkness.

Anyway, here are the pictures...I had to be selective...I have 64 pictures of the car that I took recently.

^ Shows some orange peel, but otherwise, the treatment was the same as the previous picture.

It felt nice to get out and clean my car. I think the paint on the parts I didn't polish still needs to be cleaned, though. I could see those annoying dots while applying S100. Maybe in the spring I'll just use a cleaner wax a few times and see if it clears itself up. If not, I guess I'll have to clay and/or polish.

Is that original paint?!

Looks really good for a 1990...hell, any year for that matter. OP is way to common to even mention these days, so I say your paint looks amazing.

How about some outside pics? :D

I'll get some outside pictures once it gets nicer here. It was dark by the time I was done. Nothing came out well. Here is a pretty nice picture of the car that was taken last summer.

The car was repainted before it fell into my hands, and unfortunately the job wasn't all that great. There are a few places [rear fenders + sunroof] where the paint is cracking. :(

Here is one of the unfortunate cracks I'm talking about.....I'm suspicious that there is filler behind the paint.
