Possibly looking to get a new buffer/polisher. Right now using a dewalt rotary with wool and foam pads. I do a good bit of painting on the side so sanding and buffing is always done mainly because of trash getting in the finish. Looking to see what other good options are out there. Ive been using meguiars m101, 3d aat and hd polish

Yep, the flex rotary, PE14 is quite a machine.

Any variable speed rotary will do the job. That said, I would think what you have is fine. You did not mention a DA, having one in case of the hard case swirls may be a good idea.

I love my Flex PE14 but for what you`re doing the DeWalt is just fine.
