how do ya like it?
i feel so stupid. this morning i was reaching into my car to get my backpack from the back seat, and i didn't realize that my key was poking out. anyways, i reached in to grab it, and i hear this horrible sound. i look down, and i notice that ive keyed my own car :flamed ......... i saw the flakes drop off, and i started going crazy. its not deep, and its about an inch long, but to me it stands out like sore thumb. this really makes me feel stupid.... the moral of this story: keep your keys in your pocket, not in your hand.....

any of you peeps ever accidently key your car, or others' cars?
 
I've never keyed my car, let alone anyone elses. I have personally seen my brother shut the car door on his own hand though. It's one of the funniest things I have ever seen. The look on his face was priceless. Yes, I helped him get his hand out after I stopped laughing.
 
sorry to hear that zesty. you must have alot on your mind or something..Sometimes I forget to take off my keyring when washing cars and I hear it clank on the car and I go OOOPPSS!!and wince when checking for damage. Hopefully the PC will get it out..check you later..jon
 
I keyed my car one time by accident. It was winter time and i only had my car for a couple of months. I was walking around my car to get into my garage and i had my keys on my hand and i slipped on the ice and keyed my hood. Boy was i :angry . Now keys always go into my pockets even if its 80 degrees outside.
 
Thanks to the advent of keyless entry fobs, I rarely - if ever- let keys get near my paint.
