So, I got a job for the summer doing lab work (spectroscopy and chromatography mainly). I really won't need to suppliment my pay at all. (OKAY, it could help when it comes time to pay Sallie Mae, but I'm not too worried about that even if it means eating Ramen until I'm 40).
And I paid for advertising on a local forum. And I was going to do volunteer work anyway.
So I thought, why not detail for charity? It's a ton of work, but it's work that I enjoy doing. My goal is to raise $2000 by the time I leave for school. I'm not 100% sure how to go about this, or which charity I want to donate to. I just get nothing out of detailing for profit, even when I really really like it.
I always told myself that I would use my talents to help other people, and for this summer this is the best way I could think of.
Any thoughts and advice?
