I can not pass a car anymore without trying to find something wrong with the paint! You would think that living near the "Motor City" you would find a lot of people who knew how to take care of their rides, but you don't.

For example,

Last night my cousin and I are heading out to see some Boxing fighs. We are driving along an I say, "Now that guy knows how to keep his car clean." It was a black Jag that looked really clean and shiney. Pulled up next to him to see that his car was actually nothing but swirls! GRRRRRRRRRR

Anyone else like this?

I know just what you mean, I look around ebery parking lot I'm in and compare the clean cars to mine and the standards I've becomae used to from DC and Autopia. Lately I've started rating them from 1 to 10 LOL

:lol
Oh, the worst is when I go to a car show and you have all of these "show" cars there and they have swirly paint and dirt on their tires!

:lol you guys are young:rolleyes: you should get over it by the time you hit 40 no that's too young
how about 50 :dunno no Boss will not agree:nono
how about 60 :dunno no JimS and Charles won't agree:nono
how about 70 :dunno no Ray aka Gadfly won't agree:nono

well maybe by the time you're 80 and can't see too well and can't remember why you're outside and looking at other peoples cars
you'll be ok:crazy :rolling :lmfao

:lol

When I am 80 cars will probably have some sort of coating that will never need washed or detailed and I will be jobless! ;)

Not only do I look at swirls and dirt but I look at body work as well...I hate body filler waves!

I would agree! It's really a shame what you see at a car show........... even at the more prestigious shows. A good/smart pro detailer or product vendor can make those shows a "gold mine"! :bigups

Yeah, the prestigious shows are the worse to see it at. The outdoors local car shows don't bother me as much as the indoors big car shows where you have a bunch of trailer queens looking that way.
