Hydro blue questions

Would like to try this come spring/summer detail. Prior to using this would it be safe to say all wax should be removed? Looking at Gtechniq panel wipe for this. And can it be maintained with any good detailer or spray wax?

Thanks.

GTechniq Panel Wipe Coating Prep 250 ml.
You can use it on top of any coating or sealant, but I would question it`s ability to bond, and I suspect the longevity would be diminished if it isn`t applied to a clean, decontaminated and prepped surface.

Gtechniq is my go to prep solution. Gyeon Prep is ok, but I have had to mop up things with panel wipe that Prep has left behind. Eraser is good too IMHO.

I would do whatever you can to remove as much LSP to maximize durability.

I maintain silica spray coatings by applying more silica spray coating every 4-6 weeks. I`ve also started using CarPro ECH2O, and it seems to work well.

I`m currently evaluating 3 of them for longevity and hydrophobicity.

Just subscribed to get the results of this test. I have a bottle of Mckee`s 37 Blue on order.

Obviously they preach clean surface to apply the spray too. To try to squeeze out there longevity claims. You could start with a clean surface spray 3:1 to start and then maint every few weeks with 7:1

This all boils down to having a concentrate like Hydro2 unsure if Hydro blue will ever be a concentrate because cuts much profit out for the companies and it allows chances of poor reviews for using poor quality water and or too strong of a dilution etc. too many variables when you control the dilution.

It`s so easy to do the spray and rinse the hardest thing is using the low amount they tell you will cover a vehicle. Second after that is having a good place shade preferred to apply and get rinsed before possible streaking can happen

Stuff sure is fun to use but it does take away some hand on car time that some just love. Me I rather just be Able to juice this on and be done. I`ve been fooling with different ratios and application methods just for fun.
