hydro 2 problem

Ronkh

Wax Waster
Had thunder storms last night and this am. Thought it was cloudy enough to use the hydro....

but.............

I got high spots all over.

Advice on how to deal?

I don't know its durable enough to level with a fine polish. Maybe another wipe down with a QD.

It's very picky about the 3:1 dilution
I usually do no more than 2 sprays then spread with damp microfiber sponge per panel then rinse. Hood 4 broken in half.
It's not Nattys:)

Ron did you use a lot of high pressure to rinse it ?? The only time I had problems was when I didn't rinse enough.

Of course I used too much..... But that said, I did one panel at a time rinsed with hard jet of water then kept rinsing for a long time, then move to next panel. I did just see on ag, that for black car should be 1/6 dilution

Yep I did

I would give it a buff by hand first with a red pad an then by da, try a really light polish like 85rd or even top finish glaze.

Possible not enough pressure or concentrated enough stream.

They way I'm doing it is the slow way but wanted to make sure total coverage. From what I've seen the pressure is what levels and rinses excess.

I really did hit it hard and long, then went to more rinsing.

As I said, I read that on black/dark colors they advised to lower the dilution

I may hit car with like a black pad and some pro polish or 205 or something, but just a little aggrivated

RON!!! Foam your car with a strong APC itll come off. Dont polish! You'll affect the UK. And Also I found using hydro 4:1 it is WAY more user friendly. Hydro is not a coating you can take it off like wax my friend! In fact even using Wet diamond will knock them down.

Thanks Joe! Good tip.

actually, the uk has been on longer than I expected. you know ron has to try everything out there at least once. (a week that is). :rofl

I was unable to get Hydro streak free no matter how i followed their videos or instructions.
With all the trouble to get rid of the streaks i would rather use a quality spray product like Wolfgang, Pinnacle etc instead.

Smooth...is correct...I have used it on about 10 cars and no issue....but I use a pressure washer at 2800psi too...no need to polish....it's not that serious....Apc....if you don't have a pressure washer. .go to a coin wash and do it
There. ...High pressure helps to to bond better
