How's this for reviving a dead car?

This weekend, I'll be detailing my sisters 1990 Toyota Camry. It's been neglected. The finish is orange-peeled in some areas, and just dull in others. I'm not a pro, nor do I have a PC, but I want to do the best I can with the products I have available.

Wash

Clay

Polish: 3M Finesse It II

Clean/SMR: Meguiars #9 SMR

Wax: Mothers Cleaner Wax

Topper: s100

What I wondered is, should I use the first coat of wax (Mothers) before using SMR, or would the SMR just cut through that wax anyway?

I realize that the Megs #9 might be overkill, but I want to make sure to put as much good stuff (oils, waxes, etc) back into this paint as possible since it's been Turtle Waxed, Nu Finished, and detergent washed more times than I want to think about.

I'm hoping this setup will give her car a nice shine, but more importantly, some solid protection from the 2 months of neglect she'll put it through before I wax it again :)

get rid of the cleaner wax, it won't add any durability. Thats too much cleaning, your better off with what you have without the mothers cleaner wax. The cleaner wax should only be used for door jambs and such. I have it, its alright, but ive stopped using it since i got into pure waxes like #26.
