How would you remove these swirls?

This is a very neglected car. Most say to start out light with a #9 or SMR but I don't think those products will put a dent in these. I have a PC and a yellow pad...... maybe DACP? Machine Glaze?

Please help  .

Thanks guys.... I know someone will point me in the right direction.

*EDIT*

I should add that the pix do not do them justice. I measured and they are visible from about 60 feet in the sun.

Holy cow! Is that really just swirling or did someone drop a bowling ball on the hood and make crater-shaped concentric cracks everywhere??

I have no actual idea, but from the looks of it I'd say it would laugh at SMR and you'll be looking at Fine Cut or DACP for sure.

Those are really swirls...... The women who owns this car was amazed at how well orange clean worked around the house. So she decided it would be a good idea to wash the car with orange clean and hard green scrubies. Obviously not the best idea.:scared

Oh man, are you in for a lot of work!!! I would say DACP and a cutting pad might do it. I mean "might"!!! You may have to seek out a rotary and a cutting pad. If that does not work, you may need to use a compound like PI-III but be REAL careful or you will go through the clear coat!!!

I do not envy you!! Good Luck bud!!!

I have only used the PC once before so I think I'll stick to the cutting pad and DACP for now. I am doing this for a family member. They don't really care.... the car has been like this for over a year now. I just want to do it to get a feel for the PC and to see what it's abilities are.

I would agree, you are probably going to need a rotary to remove those. You will be standing there for days with the PC to remove that kind of damage.

I would start with a rotary and polishing pad, but you will probably need to move up to a cutting pad.
