How To: Wheels and Tires (Video)

Nice vid, I have two questions...did you wet the areas you cleaned before you sprayed on the cleaner?

Are you using the one cleaner for all the surfaces? appears that you did

No I did not wet the area first. I did use the wheel cleaner on everything

I can't say that I have used wheel cleaner on tires and wells, not saying that it wouldn't work, but IMO its not the proper way to clean those areas.

If I'm wrong sorry but for tires and wells I use APC

I have found that All Purpose Wheel Cleaner (cleaners that are safe on all wheels) do a great job cleaning the wheel wells with out ruining the plastic. They also do a great job removing old tire shine. I didnt want to use 5 products to clean the wheel, well, and tires. This video was made to help the weekend warrior

I should also say that the reason I asked about wetting the area before spraying on the cleaner is most are water activated, helps the product to work before you start scrubbing.

westleys tire cleaner for the win ...

i also wet the wheels, wells and tires prior to applying my cleaners instead of directly applying the chemicals so it is more safe on all areas when you are cleaning them ...

thats just me though .

Agreed. I'm sure using one product works fine as demonstrated but my preference is to use two. I use Amazing Roll Off on the tires and wheel wells and I spay water on them first.
