How to restore faux wood panels? (80's GM content)

I'm curious if anyone knows of a way to refinish the faux wood panels in an 84 Buick. The "paint" is wearing thin and the plastic is starting to show through. Are there any companies who can restore these?

(They are not wood, they are plastic panels with paint over them).
