How to remove tar or tire marks from Ventureshielf clear bra?

I went to a HPDE at the track this week. I got Ventureshield put on last week and I must have at least a dozen or more impact marks from the hot tire chunks on the track. Well, they don't come out. I even tried some bug & tar remover with no success. I have since read you are not supposed to use that but at least for now it did not hurt the bra.

Anyway, my hood and nose look like A$$ now.

Please help!

I've run into this a few times. Try some PlasticX by hand (you can use paint polishes too). I've actually resorted to buffing the marks off in some cases where they are bad. I've got a few that are actual scuffs in the bra, those won't come out.

If they are physical impressions then they will be hard to get out.

As mentioned the bras can be lightly polished but no guaranties the marks will come out IME.

Sorry to hear, better the bras then the paint.

Here in Quebec clear bra's are popular dealer options. Yes they can be polished with a light polish to remove scuffs and transfer. To remove impressions there are 2 options, the first is time, not fun, but for us the winter season "repairs" clear bras. The freeze thaw cycles tend to move the plastic back to it's original position. The "can't wait" option is to freeze and thaw the plastic through about 20 cycles, does the trick, it's what we so for show cars. Use ice to freeze, and let the sun do the thaw portion, do not apply heat.

Except the ones that actually hit the paint came right out!

I've had a lot of these tire marks from track days on my clear bra. I just clay it out. Make sure to use a good clay lube so the clay doesn't stick to the clear bra. Also, avoid the edges! If you get clay on the edge of the clear bra, it is very hard to remove.

My clear bra installer talked to his Ventureshield supplier and he recommended Methyl Ethyl Ketone, or MEK.. that's some serious strong stuff. Once I get it we are going to test it on some spar Ventureshield..
