How to remove tape residue from paint

Hey guys,



I recently took my accord autocrossing and thus covered some of the edges with blue masking tape. Now I guess it was a hot day so when I went to remove the tape, some of the residue or maybe the glue stuck on. How do I remove it.

I always use 3M Adhesive Remover. Note that this will also remove your LSP.

Stoner's Tarminator should make quick work of that removal. Again, this stuff removes products.

If you are working before the sealing stage, plain old ISA will get the adhesive off, if it is the "standard" adhesive used on most tape. If you have sealant on the paint, (which you shouldnt anyway with adhesive still there) it will go bye bye....
