How to remove "Rust Blooms"

On a recent post, Accumulator mentioned siver cars being vulnerable to "rust blooms," thus giving me a panic attack .:)



Is there a way to get rid of these...I think my 4-week old has one on the hood.



Can I use Clay?

P21S Paint Cleaner?

AIO?

Blowtorch (B.A. Baracus style :xyxthumbs )
 
Yeah, I find the decontamination systems give more permanent results than claying alone (or using paint cleaners). I do clay while the acidic step of the system is dwelling.
