been a while since i've gotten on here but i have a rotary and i guess i used a little too much product and got some sling (little white dots) on different areas of the truck. How do i get this off? I have already waxed the truck but i know clay bar will work but is there a better way without stripping all the wax off. Also it is in the wiper cowl too and i have scrubbed and it won't come off. Also am i using too much product when it slings?

try a little prep sol on the cowl , then use a protectant....
where else are the dots? If they are on areas you have already waxed, try more wax as wax has Petroleum distilates as a carrier and will usually remove light stuff sitting on the surface :)

also when using a rotary, which tend to sling more than a pc , try placing towels over the cowl, windshied and hard to clean areas before buffing ;)

Too much product could be an answer, but more likely it is the placement of the product. You might be just putting it too near the edge and then as you are working the tool it is lifting the edges off the paint. That will cause the product to fly off. I try to put the product on the part of the pad that will have the most contact with the paint. If the tool loses contact with the surface of the vehicle, then the product will spit out everywhere.

If it is polish on the paint, then Poorboys Spray and Wipe or Meguiiar Final Detail are my favorites to remove the dots. If that doesn't work then wash the car with a car wash shampoo. Prep sol will remove any wax on the car.
