How do I fix this? It's like a 2x2 dip in the garage floor (concrete finish). It sucks in the rain and snow because all of the water gathers there. It's a smooth finish (typical of most garages) and not rough like a sidewalk. Thank boys!
Check out quikrete.com, they should have a product for you. Not sure if a vinyl patch would work best or a different product. Also check into the resurfacing products, they might make a decent self leveling product. I have the same problem but haven't looked in to a fix just yet.
Some follow up information for you... Take a look at this product. Sounds like it might be what you are looking for. At the bottom of the page under "Related Projects" there is a pdf the walks you through the process.
I would say it's about 1/8" of an inch at its lowest point. It might be a little more than that since I haven't actually measured it, but it's not noticeable when it's dry, only when wet. Thanks for the help guys!
I used the vinyl patch to do a few places in my garage (holes - not dips). Cracked like crazy over the winter. For an eighth of an inch, I personally wouldn't mess with it - it will look worse than having a bit of water standing there.
1/8 is pretty hard to fill. More work than it's worth in my view. That skim coat doesn;t have anything to hold to. If you absolutely want to though try an epoxy.
